Invest in a proven disinfectant dispenser and ensure safety.

Hand sanitizer dispensers have become a staple in public restrooms. We can find them in shopping malls, schools, and gyms. Maintaining a high level of hygiene is especially important, especially during the fall and winter when our immune system is weakened. We are also aware of the importance of dispensers containing disinfectant during times of increased risk of coronavirus infection.

That's why at OLE.pl, we offer a wide range of diverse solutions that will work in homes, offices, and high-traffic public places such as train stations or hospitals.

Why is hand hygiene so important?

The vast majority of people are not aware that they unconsciously touch their face and its surroundings multiple times a day.

That's why, in order to avoid unnecessarily transferring harmful microorganisms present on shopping carts, bus handles, and other surfaces, it is essential to use hand sanitizer.

Types of hand sanitizer dispensers

There are basically two types of disinfectant fluid dispensers. The classic manual solution is most commonly found in government institutions or on the premises of sports facilities. On the other hand, more modern touchless dispensers are preferred as a bathroom fixture in hotels, branded store chains, but also in places where there is a high volume of traffic and therefore, saving fluid is necessary.

Touchless hand sanitizer dispensers

Proximity dispensers are electric devices that detect movement in a specific area. This is a very convenient solution, due to the low level of device maintenance and the ability to dispense measured doses of disinfectant fluid. It also does not require direct contact from our side - simply bring your hand close to the sensor.

Touchless dispensers are most commonly mounted on the wall or placed in a room as standalone devices. Because touch is not necessary, the design itself can be small.

A wall-mounted device is, for example, the model from Saraya company. The 0.45 liter container is sufficient for long-term use. The dispenser is powered by four R14 batteries, and one set of cells is enough for up to 18,000 doses. It can also be used as a liquid soap dispenser. The small size and modern design of this model make it suitable for almost any interior.

An example of a free-standing station is the stand for disinfectant dispensers. It is a great choice wherever we have limited space. The station is made of steel, so it is resistant to intensive use.

Manual hand sanitizer dispensers

Due to the need to press on the device elements, this type of dispenser is only available in the form of wall-mounted containers mounted on vertical surfaces using screws. Manual dispensers are activated by pressing a button or lever with the hand or elbow.

Manual constructions are easier to disassemble and sterilize individual components.

Wall-mounted dispenser by FanEco offers an optimal capacity of 0.5 liters. The special spray nozzle allows for choosing between dispensing the liquid in portions or generating a mist with a wide coverage area. The universal bottle can be filled with any refill or canister, and the dispenser can also be used for measuring soap portions.

Where is the best place to install a hand sanitizer dispenser?

Hand sanitizer dispensers are most commonly installed in key locations within a company. This is important because the easier it is for both employees and guests to find them, the more likely they are to use them.

A well-chosen solution is to mount the dispenser near the entrance. In such a location, a touchless sanitizing station would work best, as it can be moved as needed. Installing wall-mounted dispensers near the entrance is not a particularly good idea due to the alarm or electrical wiring that is often located in this area.

For conference rooms, offices, and small offices, a wall-mounted dispenser - either manual or touchless - may be a better choice. It will not be subject to heavy use, but it can still be easily located.

In rooms where only a few people work, it is enough to install one dispenser by the door. Companies preferring a typical corporate work model and open space rooms can opt for an even more compact solution in the form of countertop dispensers. An increasingly popular method is simply providing employees with small dispensers for personal use.

How to choose the capacity of disinfectant containers?

There are various solutions available on the market - from small containers holding only 0.2 liters of disinfectant, to models designed for large shopping centers. In the latter case, the capacity can reach up to 1.2 liters.

Before making a choice, it is worth remembering to place larger containers, with a capacity of 0.7 liters or more, at the entrance and in the bathrooms. Studies by occupational health and safety specialists show that people using the services of a particular institution or company most often disinfect their hands when entering and leaving the premises, so a larger dispenser capacity is important.

In turn, smaller dispensers, such as those containing 0.3 to 0.5 liters of disinfectant, will be sufficient in office spaces. Employees most often use them before starting work (due to travel from their place of residence) or during, for example, after a business trip. However, the overall consumption is lower and fewer people use the dispensers. Usually, these are only company employees.

What design of a hand disinfectant container to choose?

Just like with soap dispensers, hand disinfectant containers can serve not only as a purely pragmatic solution, but also complement the interior design as a decorative element.

Most dispensers are made of durable plastic or other synthetic material in white or gray color.

This is a very conservative combination of colors and materials, but it works perfectly where the goal is maximum pragmatism and usefulness of interior elements. That's why plastic containers, like Bisk F1, are an excellent choice for hospitals, clinics, or medical offices. The large, one-liter capacity also makes this model suitable for use in shopping malls.

A more exclusive solution are containers made of stainless steel, produced by the Swiss company Franke. The touchless model from the Rodan product line will look great in a prestigious hotel, well-known restaurant or luxurious home interior. It is powered by 6 AA batteries and also has an indicator symbolizing low battery level.

The polished, elegant casing and silent operation give it a shine and make using the Franke dispenser a pure pleasure.

How to refill a disinfection dispenser?

Disinfectant liquid dispensers can be refilled using disposable inserts or by using several-liter canisters.

This first method is most commonly chosen by reputable companies, often resulting in higher quality raw materials. However, the inserts are slightly more expensive than large containers and generate more waste.

On the other hand, disinfectant liquid poured from a canister is cheaper and more readily available in supermarkets. Unfortunately, using it is not very convenient and requires lifting a few kilograms of weight.

In our store, we offer comprehensive solutions that will work in single-family homes, small businesses, as well as multi-storey, spacious shopping malls and schools. We only sell products from recognized brands such as Tork, Franke, CWS-boco, Saraya or FanEco.

We will be happy to help you choose products tailored to the needs of employees and guests.
